Midwives

Hospital and community midwives have been specially trained to care for mothers and babies throughout pregnancy, labour and birth. We no longer have midwives who visit the surgery. If you have recently found out you are pregnant, you can complete a self-referral form to inform the midwives and start receiving the necessary support by going to maternitymattersdorset.nhs.uk.
